In the year 2021, general practitioners in Denmark conducted over 5 million consultations with patients of all ages, resulting in over 1500 consultations for each general practitioner. The number of consultations was significantly higher in urban areas than in rural areas. Considering this workload, it is safe to say that these doctors are extremely busy.

We are a team of master's students from the Danish Technical University, possessing expertise in Human-centered Ai, computer science and bioinformatics. We work on the problem of today to get the solutions of tomorrow, by using machine learning and data science.

The solution

A digital platform designed for doctors to help them with preventive care of elderly people, using various data driven approaches. Our first use case for this solution is to look at malnutrition. By collecting nutritional and physical activity data daily, our idea is building a model that could offer an accurate score of lifestyle and malnutrition. This approach can ideally detect negative trends or risky patterns for the subject, before they lead to serious issues.
